Banaras Ghat 3 by BV Nalakar is the next in his series of Banaras Ghat, each one more beautiful and intricate than the other. In this work by Nalakar, the lesser-known Banaras is portrayed. With the other side of the Ganga is not adorned with temples and architectural wonder, this side is more on the natural rough land. The side where only the people who explore and track with the soul of the wanderer try to reach.

No prescribed steps leading to anywhere is what lies on the opposite side of the well flourished Banaras ghat where thousands of lamps light, but there are only a few that reaches this side of the Ganga, and only a handful of people who reaches this side fighting the current of the flowing river. Portraying the opposite side of the Ganga, just like the second side of the coin which is often ignored after winning a toss. Giving us insight into the actual and natural ghats, this masterpiece is one that should not be missed.
