“Lost in Time” by Shantanu Sarkar portrays a scene which speaks loudly of solitude, embraces the idea that time never stops for anyone. There is a thin line between past and present as is evident by amalgamation of ancient and modern. While the architecture ruins take us back to the past, the red dress reminds us of contemporary city life. Perhaps, the girl lost in time is recalling different versions of herself. The two figures are caught in different eras reliving a day in the chaos of life. The use of subdued tone reflects depth in the thoughts, inviting viewers to ponder over the meaning of life and importance of time.
