Debjani Das loves to create art which is inspired by nature but her own style varies from abstract to realistic, choosing different aspects of nature. The visual forms of nature fascinates her and her paintings are elegant in nature. As an artist she is selective to take ideas from nature and she presents it in her own manner and techniques. In some works she uses very soft colour tones and in some works she creates realistic landscapes using bright colour schemes and capturing light and depth from nature. She carefully manages the detailing of the elements she chooses.
