She created her figurative watercolour paintings with a central female figure in her everyday activities like bathing, swinging and blowing shankh. For her acrylic paintings she focused on texture with a soft color scheme which has a decorative value. Arshi’s compositions are simple and individualistic that are appealing for the viewers.
